MEET MATT
Owner Matt Petersen started out in the electrical trade in 2000, beginning an apprenticeship with a contractor specialising in Commercial and Industrial construction, commissioning and maintenance.
Through this broad base of experience and a desire to work overseas, Matt’s career took him to the UK to work for Alstom Transport to commission, modify and troubleshoot electric rolling stock on the London Underground.
After a couple of years of braving the harsh winters Matt decided to move home to Australia and continued his career in commercial and industrial construction and maintenance which led to working on some huge projects in the Desalination and Oil and Gas boom that has powered the Australian resources construction sector over the last 10 years.
Matt is a Dual Trade Electrical and Instrumentation technician with experience covering Hazardous Area inspection, repair, maintenance and reporting, large and small construction projects, exit and emergency lighting installation and maintenance and energisation, pre-commissioning and commissioning of electrical and instrumentation systems.
